Why Worry About Tommorow? Be grateful.

The state of many lives is centered on worries. Due to the inability of man to determine the activities of time, man channels his momentum or energy into imagining the next activity that will occur.

Sometimes he or she gets the privilege of having the same thing or similar, occur, but most times it never occurs. Actually, is it right or advisable to indulge in such act or thought?
The essence of my writing is to inform us that even the Creator of man (God) does not approve or support His creature (Man) to do such.
Matthew 6:34
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
God in His word says that we shouldn’t worry about the morrow (tomorrow), we shouldn’t divert from the now (today), the morrow will think about itself.

Why Worry?

One major killer of human is worry. Worry on the other hand can be anxiety, it means, to feel unease and anxious about something with uncertain result.
We worry, still we don’t know what really will happen tomorrow or in the next moment. I discovered in myself that this worrisome life can damage my future and so I must be myself and grateful for what I have.
Certainly, there are many reasons we worry, for example someone we love is sick, our assistant or helper is late (dead), our friends are not around, lack of food to eat and other basic necessities, etc.
The major reason for worry is our inabilities to know the activities of time. Simply because I don’t know what will happen in the next minute, I stir my anxiety but even with worries I cannot still determine the product of time.
We are expectators and not manifestos, we are in need and our Maker is aware. He says, “I know you need these things but at least be grateful for what you have.”
Worries produce ingratitude and God loves gratitude and hates ingratitude, that’s why He doesn’t want you and I to worry about anything.
Matthew 6:30
“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”
Matthew 6:31
“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?”
A song writer once prayed say, “One day at a time sweet Jesus, that’s all I’m asking from you. Just give me the strength to do everyday, what I have to do…”
Why worry about tomorrow, don’t you know that sometimes tomorrow never comes for some people? Please be grateful for today and seek God instead.
Note: No amount of worries will make tomorrow a better day, but being grateful will.
